COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aurelian Lure was made by taking mature, barrel-aged sour beer and refermenting it to dryness in oak barrels with apricots from northern California. Dozens of microorganisms, including wild yeasts native to the Texas Hill Country, transformed the apricots through refermentation to create a beer unique to our land.

Tap at BTBF. An truly awesome beer. The smell is grapes, fruit roll ups, peaches, fruits skins, natural but spiced, herbal, and good. The taste is tart, sharp, super sharp but in a good way, fruits, lemon, and great. Cloudy with a white head. Nice nice beer.

Cloudy golden color with quickly receding head. Pungent apricot aroma: intense and vinegary, smells imminently sour.

Crisp, pointy fruits massage my palate. Passionfruit, apricots, peaches. Some astringency from the citrus, yet this blends majestically into the overall balance.

A small step behind Atrial. Fking delicious.

Bottle received in trade. Thank you Jeffrey! Pours vibrant hazy pale orange with a rather small frothy white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sour and fruity with heavy apricots, yuzu juice hay, dry soil, lemongrass, lemon zest, apricot skins, yoghurt, minerals and subtle hints of barnyard. Taste is sour and fruity with crackers, heavy apricots, yuzu juice, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, horse blanket, lemon zest and leather. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, tart, mouth-puckering and light bodied. Finish is sour and fruity with crackers, heavy apricots, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, lemon zest and horse blanket. Tastes like fresh and vintage Fou’Foune at the same time. Huge apricot tastiness with a prominent complex acidity. Very good...
