Beer pours dark golden color with not enough head. Aroma is very lactic with some basement aromas ans a hint of band aid. Also wood. Flavor is sour and pleasantly so. A great addition to Jester King’s rising stable of beer!!!
750ml bottle brought by bananabi11. Shared by all. 2016 vintage. Excited to try my first Jester King! Hazy ipa pour. Big berry. Big sour. Funk. Definite wild yeast presence. Oak. Very sour. A touch of sweet tarts. So tangy tart and strongly wild. Medium bodied or a bit more. Some alcohol presence. The blend is good. Finishes strongly sour tart. 4 Wow! Strong. Certainly wild. Flavorful. 14.1 jbruner (5455) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 4, 2017
Pours a deep golden brown from the bottle with bubbly white head that dissipates to leave light lace. Aroma of nice lactic acidity and earthy brett funk, a touch of citrus in the middle, and nice piney hop notes on the end. Taste follows, like the biggest and best sour/funky IPA you have ever had. The booze is well hidden, tasty for sure. koleminer20 (4171) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - OCT 27, 2017
From notes. Enjoyed at a share up at Huffman Lake with some good dudes the weekend of September 30 through October 01. 750 mL bottle. Blend #8. The pour is a darker golden brown with a thick white head and a couple spots of lace as it falls off. The aroma is pretty sour right up front with a nice red wine aspect and a growing oak. There is a pretty heavy vinegar on the back end that I’m not too crazy about. The flavor is a little better. There is a nice cherry and funky citrus to it that transitions through a light vinegar, but lets the oak really shine. There is a little barnyard funkiness on the back end, but it’s doable. The mouth feel is medium bodied and brightly carbonated with a lingering sour and funky aftertaste. There is a late red wine vinegar that begins to creep in, but it’s not too bad. Pretty sour. 6 4 7 4 14 solidfunk (9729) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - SEP 29, 2017

Sample at Aficionado’s during the "Big Bad Bottle Share" on 02/10/2017. Hazy bright orange color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of funky lemon, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of funky yeast, citrus, oak and malt. The finish is funky citrus and yeast. Pretty good overall. anstei (2742) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - JAN 29, 2017
Bottle at RBGT. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is funky farmhouse, some fruit, little oak barrel. Body is medium, lightly sour with a good tartness and a late bitterness. Long and fruity, yet lightly boozy palate. KyotoLefty (10808) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JAN 5, 2017

Bomber. Thanks, Mike. Sour fruity nose, tart peach, some tropical fruit notes, too. Medium yellow/amber color. Light sour fruit initial, smooth stone fruit in mid, moderate bittering. Thin body and quite astringent. Interesting, tart, and tasty.
