COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English pub ale meets the French farmhouse tradition and American oak aging in this dry, drinkable farmhouse mild ale. Full-flavored, but brewed with enough restraint to be highly sessionable. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, and naturally conditioned.

Location: 750 ml bottle from Central Market, 11/4/13, Batch #5

Aroma: The aroma is fairly light, some wood, a bit of art berry, mild caramel, and a bit of cardboard
Appearance: It pours a mahogany color with a thick froth of beige head and some drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same, some tartness, wood, and mild malty and spice flavors
Palate: The body is light and just a bit thin, but not watery, with a tingly feel/carbonation
Overall Impression: This is a nice take on the style overall. There’s a decent amount going on here considering that we are talking about such a low ABV beer. I enjoyed it.

theisti (4206) - Kansas, USA - OCT 24, 2013
750 ml bottle purchased at Pinocchio’s Beer Garden in Media, Pennsylvania. The pour is a clear brown mahogany with a small off white head. The aroma has a soft tobacco along with oak wood. The taste is a pleasant blend of the earthy tobacco and oak wood, softly vanilla notes of the nose. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation and a softly sweet finish. A bunch going on for such a low ABV beer. Nice mild.

Bottle, smell is roasted light coffee, appearance is dark brown with a thin light tan head, taste is lightly roasted with caramel. Not bad but wish they put more taste and alcohol in this one.

magsinva (1433) - Virginia, USA - SEP 29, 2013
Bottle from Hop City Birmingham - pours dark murky brown. I think the mild ale label works better then farmhouse, as it’s thin and not very funky, which is not what I would expect to see in a farmhouse. Solid, but boring.
