750mL bottle, shared with Lizardville Staff. really not keen on this one, maybe it needed more time to get funky in the bottle, but as of now its kind of a mildly tart beer, which I enjoyed its easy to drink mild hints of oak, no real saison charm.. solid beer though just because its easy to drink and enjoy.

750ml bottle, slight cloudy amber hue, with a bubbly white head, mild yeasty, fruity, light brett funky, woody, dusty sour nose, with a juicy lemon, musty white grape, rhubarb tartness accent, and a mild sour green apple, wheat, pale, pilsener sour mash note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a nice sour, yeasty, bretty, wet hay, dusty wheat, pale, toasted malt character, with some light vanilla, musty white grape, white wine tannin, lemon juice sourness flavours, with a faint yogurt lacticness, oak vanilla, flowery leafy hop undertone, leading towards a yeasty funkiness, lemon sourness, vanilla oakiness, white wine dryness finish.

Sampled during CBC 2013. Golden orange pour with a nice off-white head. Light aroma, a hint of oaky vanilla, tartness, doughy pale malts, some lemon and grapefruit. Good flavor - more tartness mixed with oak, brett, lemon and other citrus. Tasty!

Bottle, poured a clear hazy yellow color with aromas of light funk, some citrus, dough, and light wine. Flavors follow suit, not overly sour, tart citrus, and a dry finish.

Bottle:   Straw colored, a bit hazy, small to moderate sudsy white head, little lacing.   Tart nose, oakish, slightly vinous in a white wine sense.   Has a soft wheaty aspect too.   Sour on the tongue, not brash, just about the right amount.   Seems pretty simple, not a lot of depth.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   As it warms I get a soft white grape like finish, with a little bit of oak.   This one, while simple, was pretty tasty!   Thanks Bill!

Bottle. This beers balance of tart, funk, and fruit is the stuff of my dreams. I received this in a trade and really hope that it reaches distribution out here in PA because I would stock up on this like crazy. I'm seeing Jester King around a lot more these days so things are looking good.
