Batch 1, November 2012. 750 ml bottle from a trade with errl. Thanks! The beer is a clear gold with a big head of white foam. Great head retention. Huge head. It’s taking quite a lot of time to pour the beer, actually. The aroma has a strong cedar woody profile. Dry and fruity. A bit like cologne, but more pine forward. Dry and floral. Very floral. Leans toward the bitter side of things. Lighter to medium body with a velvety mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A bit spritzy. For the age, I would say this beer has held up very well. Don’t know what it was like fresh, but with 4 years on it, it still taste pretty damn good. BuckeyeBoy (7748) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 4, 2016

Bottle. Pivni, York. Label states bottling date as November 2012. Batch 1. Hazy, straw colour. Thick, bubbly, glossy topped, lasting, white head. Stunning, funky, peppery hop. Lemon juice. Some orange rind. White pepper. Big hop presence, which I might not have expected. Some woody, walk through the woods fresh, piny notes. Taste is soft sweet, turning dry, funky, chewy, oily bitter. Soft, chewy, and so easy drinking. Finishes long, lemony, peppery, funky bitter. Utterly delicious. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - AUG 24, 2015

Massive gusher, but I was ready for it, so didn’t lose too much. Otherwise, a hazy blonde ale with a full white head that shows wonderful retention.
Neverending dry brett in the nose shows limeskins, guava, dry nectarine, band aids and oiled leather. Cedar is nicely integrated in to the brett character, adding its signature rich yet mellow wood aroma (cedar is pretty distinctive). Well-attenuated (especially by now) pale malts add honey, bits of cracker and there is a lightly tart lemony wheat character as well. It all comes off bright and yet soft and with tons of depth. No alcohol in the nose.
Flavor pours on the brett as well, not surprisingly. This stuff has been busy at work. Great tartness, yet the malts both sooth and balance, adding honey, sweet whitebread dough and soft wheat dryness. Hops add just a touch of lemon at this point, with very minimal bitterness. Some wood tannin is notable on the finish, building up a bit much and adding some unwanted astringency. Perhaps a touch uni-dimensional, as well. But that’s the extent of my criticism here. Otherwise, goes down immensely easily and shows no sign of its 8%abv. Another amazing beer from this brewery...
From a 75 cl bottle shared at Travlr’s sour beer tasting. Pours a cloudy gold with a thick white head. Aroma of cedar. Flavor also dominated by cedar with some farmhouse yeast flavors. RexTalionis (3766) - FINLAND - MAR 23, 2015
Bottle. Hazy yellow, whitish head. Barnyard, hay and wood on the nose. The citrus fruits are there too. Funky pineapple, some citrus and that spicy cedar woodyness in taste. Refreshing and quite good drinkability in this brew. Bit of herbs and funky spicyness in finish. While this being quite crisp, I believe it would be an excellent one for the summer. lefossoyeur (613) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 20, 2015
Clear blonde with a bubbly white head, becoming hazier with each pour. Tropical aromas with some leathery Brett and hints of cedar. Intense carbonation, sweet, fruity, dry leathery finish with some astringency and lemony notes. A bit heavy, boozy on the finish. Nice altough it was surely better in it’s younger âge...
