Bottle 750ml @ Geokkjeryngwie (17078) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 8, 2014
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is sour with a notes of roasted malt, berries, citric acid, citrus and vinegar. Taste is light sweet and medium to heavy sour with a long sour, slightly dry, berry and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, 75cl. It pours a dark body, as black as can be, topped by a dense, finger-thick tan head leaving lacings. The aroma is funky and sourish, almost lambic-ish, with roasted malts and some licorice. Nice indeed, but sort of one dimensional. Sour, roasted flavor with dark dried fruits, licorice and some coffee notes. It’s full-bodied and soft on the palate, dry, and with a lasting roasted and sour finish with prunes and rum raisins. Starts a bit boring this one, but damn it’s fine one. 140808 Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 8, 2014
Bottle. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of sour red berries, some funk, lemon, oak, vanilla, malt and yeast. Flavor is sour and sweet with some lemon, sour funk, oak, caramel, coffee and some roasted malt. Medium body, average carbonation. pushkinwow (2826) - Ottawa, CANADA - JUN 14, 2014
750ml bottle. Brown with a tan head. Roasted malt, mild tart and sourness but not over the top, becomes nice and dry with a moderate+ carbonation and a mild fresh body, some cherry on the finish and quite enjoyable.

Bottle from mane liquor shared to celebrate our ironman success! Wow this is weird. Pours pitch black like a typical stout but huge sourness in the aroma! So confused right now. Taste is full of roasted coffee, oaky vanilla and dark chocolate upfront, then you get smacked by the sourness. Heaps of tartness and barnyard funk in the finish. Such a weird beer but it works wonderfully! Terminus (3689) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 7, 2014
Tap at brewery June 2014
Pours dark black with a nice tan head and some good legs. nose is roasty sour, lite vinegar, lots of roast under the sour. favors are very balanced between the sour and the roast. this is very solid. long roasty finish with lingering puckering sourness. this is quite nice! Need to find some bottles of this! budedou (979) - Saint Etienne, FRANCE - JUN 7, 2014

Shared by erickok at 1st RBFG. Color: opaque black beer with velvet reflexion no carbonation and no head. Smell: acid and sour notes with coffee and chocolate presence. Taste: nice malty and sour complexity. Quiet interesting mix. Aftertaste: sweet and malty notes. jaghana (6107) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - JUN 1, 2014
Bottle 75cl @1rst FRBG. Nose is on wood, oxidized like. Aroma is rich on dark chocolate, sour cherry notes, mirabelle, apricot, caramel and licorice, some acidity. Interesting, but the usual stout is more impressive.
