Looks like a pure stout. Smells like a sour tastes like a sour up front but leaves you with a slight dark chalky stout finish. Different, I'll give em that. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Jester King Brunch at Meddlesome Moth. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, pomegranate, and toffee. Light sourness with the rich maltiness is impossible for me to separate from the PERFECT pairing of Belgian waffle topped with 5 spice skirt steak and gruyere and an amazing espresso maple syrup. 5* pairing on a unique beer

Pours inky black with a quickly disappearing dark brown head. Aroma is tart cherry, light chocolate and oak. Taste is surprisingly un stout like. Now this bottle has been with me for a while so I would love to try a fresh one for comparison but reading the other reviews it seems that this might be normal. Moderate cherry tart, with a little yeast and some oak dryness. A little chocolate but I would like to have the roasted malts come through and balance this out a little more. I think the complexity would blow your mind.

Underwhelming for what I expected. Bottle share pour from 22oz bottle. Very dark pour, the sour is a little off from what I remember.

750ml bottle via trade. Poured a dark black with a foamy beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, sourness, hint of smoke, barrel, earthy and almost a red wine hint. Flavor is similar with wet dark toast and chalky dark choclate. Bigger body, lingering funky taste. Good stuff.
