A more earthy/hoppy and less tart/funky offering from JK. Hides the alcohol well. Not what I was expecting, just ok overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Pours a hazy orange amber with light head. Aromas of pineapple, Brett, and melon. Flavors of same with additional fruit, mellow yeast, and a bit of spice (white pepper and coriander). Nice.

Really spicy and sour in a nice assertive way. It’s straw and clear. A slight head that fades. So good. I could drink this all day.

Backlog from Québec RB Gathering 2016. Hazy golden with a small white head leaving some lacing. Aroma is of alcohol, oak/wood, moderate spiciness and wild features. Taste is also oaky and boozy with moderate to medium spiciness, fruity notes, mild oxidation and wild yeast from Jester King. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Fruity finish. It’s too heavy and "harsh" for a Jester King beer and their house yeast and microflora doesn’t give a nice result - in my opinon - in that kind of beer. The fruitiness is fun though.
