COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mad Meg is simple in terms of ingredients with French pilsner malt, wheat, a touch of caramunich and acidulated malt, Czech Saaz hops and our farmhouse yeast. It is golden colored and quite strong at over 9% ABV. The palate intertwines delicate farmhouse esters with earthy, spicy hops and clean malt flavors.

Bottle... Cloudy golden ale with a huge, fluffy, white head. Great retention. The nose is soapy and bready and accompanied by notes of pale grist and white pepper. Medium to full-bodied with modest carbonation. The flavor is bittersweet and biscuity with fruity components of pair and apricot. Finishes bittersweet and minerally. Bottle courtesy of the ever-generous ericandersnavy!

Unfiltered golden pour. Paper white thick head with lots of lacing. Aroma of earthy spicy hops a mild fruity esters. Thick mouthfeel. Esters are focus in flavor. I get banana, apple, and some clove. Mild hop spice aroma comes through too. Fairly bitter finish. ---Rated via iPhone

750 ml bottle from a trade with a buddy down in Houston- thanks again, Bryan! Pours a somewhat cloudy gold color with a finger of densely frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malts, dough, floral notes, grass, pears, apricots, and candi sugar. Flavor is the same with more maltiness and booziness. Medium-bodied, with medium soft carbonation and a sweet, boozy mouthfeel and finish. Nice strong Belgian farmhouse ale.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold copper with a white head of foam. Aroma is musty herbal notes with some nutty nuances and esters. Taste is musty sweetness. A little bit estery as well. Overall, it’s pretty good. Thanks Errl!

[email protected] Sweetish and loads of hops. But it lacks some balance and complexity.
