Sample from a 0.75 L bottle, kindly shared by Arve_Christian. Pours a hazed orangey golden body, under a tall mostely lasting blond head. Spiced and light funky fruit aroma. Fruity flavor as well, fairly dry with fresh yeast tones and a mild sourness. Restrained malt flavor. Distinct grassy/herbal bitterness. Medium full. A refreshing tartness in the ending. Good, indeed. [Schouskjelleren 02.08.12] stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - NOV 19, 2012
Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. Pours a hazy and copper beer with a white head. The aroma is malt, fruit and some spices. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness and bitterness. Overall a good beer. jbeatty (1248) - New York, USA - NOV 17, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2012 Bottle, 11/17/2012. Pours hazy, dark burnt orange, huge fluffy head, lasting retention. Aroma a cloud of fruity yeast-light pear, citrus, slightly tropical- biscuit malts and grassy hops, more berry notes in the end. Taste moderately sweet straw malts, sharp bitter herbal noble hops, clover and dry peppery yeast. Medium body, overly carbonated. Alright, but perhaps too bitter and herbal, not enough balance.
Re-rate 12/2/2012: second bottle much more balanced, more malts to balance, enjoyable.

Draft. The look is cloudy, orange in color, and had a nice foamy, white head. The smell is very fruity, nice, yeast, spice, and yeast. The taste is sweet and sour, orange, peels, and very yeasty. Steasy66 (1155) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 10, 2012
Apricot with huge white head. Funky citrus and mango aroma. Taste is sweet and funky. Medium Carb.

750ml bottle from West Lakeview Liquors. Pours a cloudy, deep orange-gold colored body with an inch thick, dense, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is big, soft florals with some pears and a light citrus note. A light grass and earth with a somewhat grainy, crackery, pleasant pale maltiness and slightly spicy and dry from the yeast. Flavor is similar. Fairly spicy and herbal from the yeast up front with some floral pears, grass, esters, earth, and a few citrus notes. Lightly sweetened pale malts offer a nice balance before this finishes yeasty and spicy with a moderate, grassy and earthy bitterness, some citruses, a few florals, and clean malt backing. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a softer, medium-high carbonation. Overall, a nicely done, bigger Belgian styled beer. Fairly spicy with a nice floral backing, but well balanced with a solid, lightly sweetened pale malt backing. Good beer. beerproject (129) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Aroma is earthy, sweet and a touch of alcohol. Taste is smooth bitterness, carmelly sweet malts, alcohol and a touch of spicy belgian yeast. hoppyhead12 (12) - Texas, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Poured from bottle. Cloudy golden color, with thin white head, little lacing. Smells of rich floral notes. Perfect balance of malty and hoppy, sharp kick of orange and citrus. Nutty-almond after taste. Great beer. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - NOV 4, 2012
A sweet floral nose with hints of yeast, spice, and a tartness. A cloudy orangish amber pour with frothy, mostly lasting, off-white head and medium lacing. There is initial hay/straw taste followed by a slight sweetness and a hint of spice and alcohol in the finish. There also seemed to be a pleasing citrus note in the mix. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Dry and quick. To me, overall, not a typical Belgion Strong Ale, but I liked it all the same. It had a Saison quality that I think would complement many different dishes. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2012
Served in a Jester King goblet. Too much body and alcohol. Isn’t all that yeast forward either. Strange character coming from the use of Noble hops; seems like they used way too many and they didn’t last long. Not impressed with the concept or execution.
