Light spices, caramel malts. Sharp taste, astringent. Copper body. It’s okay but too spicy. Not awesome. (On tap at Borefts 2012) 5000 (6900) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle: Dark straw, dirty and hazy, moderate frothy white head, clumpy lacing. Sweet bready nose, a touch tropical, some floral notes, with a touch of alcohol. Bright straw and yeastiness on the tongue, warming, dull floral notes. Brighter on the nose than on the tongue. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Musty finish, bready and yeasty. Good, but not as bright or floral towards the back as I think it should be. Thanks for the bottle Bill! joergen (29598) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2012

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, lemons, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, alcohol, and spices, leading to a dry finish. yespr (48876) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2012
75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with huge off white head. Aroma is fruity, light phenolic and mild spiced. Bitter and toasted malty. Spiced and smooth fruity. Lingering fruity into a smooth finish. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2012
Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque amber with some floating impurities and a huge, dense and frothy white head leaving some lacework. Sweet overripe fruit in the nose. Rich body, lowish carbonation, very fruity and yeasty with a tart edge and a very hoppy finish. An odd bird yet with loads of character. 100912 brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Pours a cloudy orange, almost copper, color with a tall white head. An interestingly hoppy nose to this. Lots of floral, earthy, and spicy hops with a touch of grass. A bit of citrus peel and booze and a fair amount of toffee and toasted malt aroma. The flavor is somewhat bitter despite the sweetness of the toffee. Lots of earthy and spicy hop flavors with a light floral note. Some citrus peel, a definite alcohol flavor, and lots of carbonation. Lightly funky, but it could certainly use some more. UPDATED: NOV 1, 2012 Bottle at the Funky 8, Brooklyn, NYC. Pours hazy gold with a modest, white foam head. It’s a sweet beer with strong herbal character. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Some herbal, spicy and lightly piney bitterness offsets the malty sweetness a bit. Nicely nuanced stuff with interesting character. (3.7)
