rough looking murky liquid, earthy hops indeed, citrus.. sweet/sour subtle balance... long warming finish drjay44 (3895) - Salida, Colorado, USA - DEC 17, 2013
750 ml. bottle. Pours a thick , well retained ivory head, with some lacing, over a hazy light amber (SRM 10) body.....nose is light fruits with peach, hints of apricot, floral honey tones, light hop spice......taste is lightly sweet to start, with floral, light fruit tones including hints of peach and other stone fruits, slight citrus, allspice notes, finishing with a light hop bitterness.....mouth feel medium, alcohol warmth present, carbonation makes a pleasant tingle, with light acid. This is a bit of a twixed and between beer. It is at the intersection of Triple, Golden Strong, Dark Strong. It is technically well done, tastes good, but it is a melange of aromas and flavors that do not mesh into any particular style. BJCP 7/3/13/5/6 TBone (18568) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 8, 2013
Bottle @SBWF 2013olsvammel (7313) - Örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 7, 2013
Hazy golden color, small white head. A bit grainy, fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Grassy, sweet mango fruity, some alcohol, light vinegar. Balanced.
Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2013. Fruity and earthy smell and an aged aroma that reminded me of an old attic. Similar fruity taste with some apple peels. A bit harsh and hard to drink. Azand222 (171) - Westminster, Colorado, USA - NOV 28, 2013
Bottle pours as hazy yellow with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is a citrus yeast. The taste is hoppy and wheaty, overall pretty good. Smooth with a medium body.

Rated at BTBF 2012 (Backlog). Hazy light amber appearance with a large off-white head. Aroma is tart with note of bread dough, citrus and yeast. Taste is of citrus, light funk, bread and spicy hops. gowdy (1116) - Erskine, SCOTLAND - NOV 23, 2013

Bottle at Söder om Småland, Malmöbeerbastard (844) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - NOV 4, 2013
Cloudy deep blond color with generous compact head. Some aroma of spices and plastic, lightly fruity. Dry mouthfeel, spicy, some fruitiness; correct bitterness; sweet oranges.
Not bad, but not exciting, compared to better products from Jester King.
750ml bottle, that pours a straw color with a fluffy head and moderate lacing. Has a strong grass malty lemon pear nose. Flavors are a bold apple citrus mix with lots of carbonation. Overall it is mostly dry. Nothing makes me think of strong Belgian, at least from the yeast. Spicy finish. Interesting label.
