Bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a small mocha colored head. Aroma is lots of coffee, slight tingling spice from the chilies, subtle smoke, roasted malt, burnt notes, dark chocolate, dark fruits and dark caramel. The flavor follows the nose and as you drink it the more chili spice you get, but lots of coffee is dominant, roasted malt, burnt notes, subtle smoke, dark chocolate and caramel and dark fruits. The body is on the lighter side of full with a creamy mouth feel, with very light carbonation. Overall a pretty nice Interpretation of the Beer Geek Brunch Weasel, but I prefer the original. _angst_ (4802) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 9, 2012

Originally rated on 05.10.2012 - Pours pitch black with a tiny sticky head. Aroma of roasty malts, hints of vanilla, coffee, chocolate, wood and hops. Taste is quite roasty and sweet with notes of warming chili, spices, vanilla and wood. Finish is sweetish and sticky with a lot of vanilla, chili, wood and spices. Okay, quite spicy but tasty imperial stout.
On tap at the BBF. Poured a pitch black into my De Molen flute glass. Small tan head and lacing. Aromas of roasted coffee, chocolate bar, peppers, vanilla malt, and espresso. Taste is coffee, caramel, nuts, smoked grains, toast, peat, and some dates. Booze was hidden relatively well in this one, had a nice bitter coffee flavor but it wasnt overpowering. Solid Imperial. starkmarvelo (29) - Texas, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Jester King Weasel Rodeo
Pours dark brown into black in a snifter. 1/2 finger beautiful golden tan head that fades into a thin ring on the outside of the glass quickly.
Aromas are of intense dark chocolate, bit of chocolate sweetness, and a hint of smoke and chocolate liqueur and khalua.
Taste- semi sweet chocolate, strong coffee flavor but with a very mild bitterness. Bit of a dark fruit up front. Tiny bit of smokeyness on the finish, probably the chipotle.
Mouthfeel- coats the tongue nicely, it's not thick or viscous by any means but sticky. Little carbonation but not flat, small happy bubbles. The chipotle and alcohol heat sit nicely at the back of the throat.
O- super smooth, chocolatey, coffee without bitterness, and warming. Damn fine beer. Might have to pick another one up.
