4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Jester King Weasel Rodeo
Pours dark brown into black in a snifter. 1/2 finger beautiful golden tan head that fades into a thin ring on the outside of the glass quickly.
Aromas are of intense dark chocolate, bit of chocolate sweetness, and a hint of smoke and chocolate liqueur and khalua.
Taste- semi sweet chocolate, strong coffee flavor but with a very mild bitterness. Bit of a dark fruit up front. Tiny bit of smokeyness on the finish, probably the chipotle.
Mouthfeel- coats the tongue nicely, it's not thick or viscous by any means but sticky. Little carbonation but not flat, small happy bubbles. The chipotle and alcohol heat sit nicely at the back of the throat.
O- super smooth, chocolatey, coffee without bitterness, and warming. Damn fine beer. Might have to pick another one up.
No head. Thick like used motor oil. Smooth. Mild coffee. Mexican chocolate. Chipotle is a nice touch. skortila (5851) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - NOV 27, 2016
On tap. Old note. The aroma has bit coffee, chocolate. Black coloured beer with a thin, off-white/beige head. The taste is moderate bitter with coffee roast, pepper, cookie, bit chocolate. Full and thick/sticky mouthfeel. Nice. Klimaet (2574) - Aarhus N, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2016
Bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of coffee, dust, light oxidization, dark fruits, chocolate. Taste is dusty, malty, dark fruits, slight oxidization, coffee. Cybercat (5833) - Georgia, USA - MAR 20, 2016
Pours coffee sable, not much head. Aroma delivers strong molasses, roast malt and licorice tones with a hint of mocha. Sharp flavor features coffee, roast malt, chocolate, molasses, and subtle licorice and peppery notes. Mouthfeel presents decent body and OK fizz. So, how do weasels have a rodeo? bytemesis (8375) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JAN 17, 2016
Bottle. Pours opaque black, medium creamy brown head, good lacing. Aroma is coffee, mocha, licorice. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, coffee and cocoa, hints of charred wood, anise. Lingering bitterness, as well as a touch of chili heat that comes on late and lingered to the far finish. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Pretty solid effort.

Wow! Damn near a 50 point beer. Aroma of roasted malts, sweet chocolate, dark dried fruits, cherries, light spice and coffee. Taste is a nice mix of roasted coffee, sweet chocolate, vegetal peppers, light sourness/spiciness and a good well balanced bitterness into the finish... Absolutely one of the best beers I’ve had 5o date as the slick mouthfeel on this beer makes it unreal! llkc (2341) - århus, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2015
