Boreft Beer Festival 2012. Black with a small off-white head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate and mild coffee. Big and sweet roasted flavour with chocolate and coffee, a vineous alcohol touch and some oaky tannins in the finish BeerZack (432) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - OCT 7, 2012
Sweet malt and coffee with vanilla and whiskey edge, hints of marzipan and turbinado sugar. As it warms the chili pepper becomes noticeable on nose and palate. Coffee and whiskey notes are more dominate on the palate. Warming finish. abemorsten (3683) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - OCT 7, 2012
From bottle at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. Creamy inch thick rocky brown head on a black body. Whisky barrel notes on roasted malts and sweet liquorice fill the nostrils. Full bodied and with an oily texture, the beer seem to grow slightly in the mouth. Vanilla and sweet liquorice. Oh, and there’s a chili warmth present.

4 oz sample from a tap to my glass at the BBF 12. Pour was mirror black with small to med beige head, small amt of lacing. Aromas and taste of peat, cofffe, burnt wood, licorice, biscuit, and light pepper. This one was way hotter then the non barrel aged weasel rodeo. A little too much smoke, coffee, and roast for me. kraddel (8890) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - OCT 7, 2012
