Bottle: Clear straw color. Thick head and great lace. Clean, a little fruit. Its fresh and bright. The palate is very sour with moderate bitterness. Nice flavor and balance although its not a complex beer. A little too simple but well made.

Very light amber golden color. Very hoppy light fruity nose with tons of Brett. Dry super fruity and bretty, but not overly bitter. Super quaffable.

BOTTLE. (Batch#17 03.31.15) Pours the unfiltered orange/light gold with good fluffy head that fades.. Funky fruit salad aroma, with that farmhouse yeast as well.. Mostly sweet fruity hops, with a funky farmhouse body, unfiltered in the mouthfeel, lots going on yet simple?.. Sourced bevmart, date street, waikiki

750ml bottle. Wheat malt aroma with notes of lemony citrus, grass and barnyard funkiness. Pours cloudy golden colored with a large, soapy off white head that has excellent retention and decent lacing. Starts with wheat malt and lemony citrus flavors to go with a light, refreshing body. Finishes dry, crisp and refreshing with light grass and some barnyard funk. Not very sour, but very nice.

750mL bottle. Pours a hazy, pale straw yellow with frothy white head, excellent retention. Nose is funky barnyard-ness, daffodils, minerals, general earthiness. Mouth is sharply carbonated, mildly tart and bretty, dry and slightly tanniny, funky citrus fruits, hay, white pepper, grapefruit bitterness on back-end. Refreshingly good beer for summer.

The Masonry, Seattle. At SBW2016 Jester King event. Creamy white foam on a bright, cloudy white-yellow. intense aroma, earthy-onion noble hop. very over-hopped saison. Buttery, earthy hop dominates. Waxy hops really dont work for me, but I see how some would love this.

Draft pour at the Masonry as part of their SBW event. Pours a still yellow color with a rocky white foam head. Lemon, grassy aroma. Flavor is a wet citrus, lemon up front, but not too tart. Floral, yeast steady. Soft fruit with a late spice hint. Drinks easy. Intriguing bite to it, and hop content is noticeable. Has a watery side to it, that knocked this down to just great.

Bottle from Whole Foods - Lamar. Batch #17 04.01.2015. Pours out pale cloudy golden color with huge airy head. Spots of sediment for the white head. Yeasty, funky tartness in both aroma and taste. Not sure if its the age or not, but coming off sour, not too bad, but more tart than your normal farmhouse ale. But its Jester King...more yeasty funk on the finish.

Looks.. Murky straw colour & large foamy white head. Smells.. Sugar citrus, straw and a fair bit of Brett showing in the snout. Tastes.. Straw, lemon, strong brettanomyces character.. Balanced nicely, enjoyable.
