Courtesy of Tinus. Thx! 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBSG II. Coolest cap ever, incredible label all thing aside, never seen a label done like that before. Pour very heavily reddish amber with little head. Smell is tart berries, vinegar mixed with some sugar and malt sweetness, lots of tarts fruits,… Taste is true to the stile slightly sweet upfront, sweet malts, caramel, sugar and hint of figs before going into big tartness, sour berries, light vinegar, touch herbs, tart cherries, cherry pits, funk, light oak, almost very sour wine. Malt based body, slightly puckering, easy to drink , touch thinner carb. Absolutely delicious beer from this wonderful brewery. bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - APR 3, 2013
UPDATED: APR 1, 2016 750 bottle. Deep red/copper with a light head-seems to pour a bit flat. Nose is very sour and citric. Taste is very tart and citric, with a slight lemony flavor. A bit dry and light on the finish. Light body. Decent Belgian style sour.
Rerate: Blend 6. nails the Flemish Red style. Great carbonation and cherry flavors with a dank malt backbone. Buy and drink this. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Pours hazy dark reddish brown with no head. Smells of sour cherries. Taste is sour and a little woody. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and light fizzy mouth-carbonation, Jester King RU-55 finishes with a little woody sour kick. lefossoyeur (615) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 28, 2015
Pours copper garnet with a thin creamy beige head that lasts troughout the tasting. Mildly sour aromas with a vinous presence of berries, grapes, some cidery notes. Very Nice mix of aromas. Lightly carbonated, Nice acidic bite, fruity, bone dry, ciderish finale, with juste a hint of wood and something nutty. I love the sourness of this one, never too acidic or acetic. Very well balanced and highly drinkable which is rare for the style. Very good stuff! Marheb (5816) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 23, 2016
(Bouteille): Le cocktail bactérien est superbement équilibré, l’acidité jamais encombrante et la finale fruitée, boisée impeccable.

Very sweet and tart, this is a very approachable sour. The sour is not extremely over powering at all. Very crisp and easy drinking. Huhzubendah (3709) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 16, 2014
The beer is dark amber with some crimson highlights. the aroma brings a bouquet of funk, oak, sour cherries, yeast. Beautiful flavor. Simply delicious. Lots of funk and cherry flavor with a lovely sour, puckering finish. Medium bodied and highly drinkable. Flanders red characteristics. I definitely recommend this one. bottleshare thanks to DexterCat. Nose is a ton of fruit. Literally a fruit bomb. Slight woody character. Taste is very puckering at first but mellows out. Nice. Pyrmir (6126) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUN 23, 2014
