Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2017 (500 ml can) Pours a clear golden beer, with fine carbonation, and a foamy white head. The aroma is typical of a German Pilsener: biscuit, caramel, earthy and floral hops, and a touch of lemon peel. Smooth medium mouthfeel, with an underlying bitterness, and a clean finish. This beer is a good example of a German Pilsener, being more bitter than a Czech pilsner, and with a subtler malt base. However, this is a relatively bland interpretation, and simply lacks interest.

Yellow, clear nice white foam. Mild aroma of sour grain. Sweet grain with really metalic aftertaste.

en pilsner ud over det sædvanlige. den er meget tør og humlet, ikke frugtagtig som IPA, men bare tør læskende og rigtig god.

Bottle at BeerDock Leek. Pours a clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of straw, slight corn, a little vegetable and grassy, herbal hops. Taste of straw, slight bready malts, a hint of metal and some grassy, herbal hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A long, dry, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. Hoppier than standard pilsners but slightly metallic and corny. Shame.

Clear golden beer with minimal white head. Aroma malty and bread, then comes some florar notes as well. Taste is light bitter, little metallic sourness. Crispy. Light body. Nice refreshing beer.

Tastes like a classy Heineken. No bad after taste, a fine Pilsner for a warm summer day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Całkowicie nic specjalnego. Wszystko czego można się spodziewać po koncernowym pilsie - tu jest. Goryczka jak z zepsutych przypraw, masło, potworna ilość CO2, w smaku niewiele co. Ot, takie tam Niemieckie Tyskie.

From a beer hawk mystery case. Nice clean sharp taste with a long bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Jevertypischer muffiger Antrunk, herber grasiger Körper mit der extra Hopfenbittere im Abgang. Der Wiedererkenungswert ist mit dem Becks vergleichbar.
