Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.

Muito herbácea, e um toque cítrico. No conjunto fica meia boca, achei muito amarga no gole, porém o retrogosto é muito bom.

martpez (335) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2017
Dry and bitter lager. Hardly any sweetness in the malts. Making it a very distinctive and decent drink

yaff (67) - la fontalaye, FRANCE - NOV 2, 2017
à la maison . Une bière simple mais honnête avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. Goût assez prononcé de céréales et finale légèrement sucrée.

fellebag (1554) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 20, 2017
33cl bottle. Small white head disappearing. Clear pilsener color. Aroma is leaves, wood. Quite sweet taste

Daboch (172) - Gdansk, POLAND - OCT 8, 2017
Piwo barwy złotej, piana biała niezbyt wysoka. Aromat mieszanina chmielu i słodu. W smaku głównie goryczka chmielowa

Piepenhenrich (1230) - Steinbach, GERMANY - OCT 8, 2017
Classic Pils, strong hopppy flavors leave this on the bitter end of the scale, thus it differntiates slightly from the otherwise indifferent mass of Pils.

loscovar (723) - Trieste, ITALY, Villeneuvette, FRANCE - SEP 17, 2017
Bottle in Heildelberg, Germany. Yellow color, sweet at firt well overtake by a nice hops bitterness, not bad

knight65 (112) - Dordrecht, NETHERLANDS - AUG 26, 2017
Little watery German pilsner. Not very bitter nor sweet. I drank it from a bottle in Emden.

m7hildeb (248) - - AUG 25, 2017
Bottle. Clear golden colour with a medium white head, nose is hoppy-grassy and aromatic malty, taste is malty and sweet at first with a relatively dry finish.

ozzatoadisback (208) - ITALY - AUG 19, 2017
Transparent golden with average white head, ok persistence and a bit of lacing. Nose is classic, clean, german pilsner with light cereal and crackery malts, fresh grass, flowery hops, slight hints of spiciness/prickliness and lemon. Ok intensity. Taste follows the aroma, medium to light sweet and medium bitter, starts in balance and finishes with a bit of clean-cut dry bitterness. Light bodied with medium to high carbonation, perhaps a bit too sparkling per style and a bit burpy, but still going down easy. Overall this is a sort neutral/standard pilsner that feels very much ok.
