Bottle. Lightly skunky lemon malt and straw aroma. Hazy medium yellow with small head. Sweet lemon malt, cardboard, and straw flavor. Light body. Probably nearly drinkable if fresh. hotstuff (5173) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 17, 2013
Rated on 9-25-2009 at Fort Wayne, IN Gathering. This beer pours a small white head that mostly diminished, transparent yellow body, virtually no lacing, and no visible carbonation. The Aroma is malt and corn. The Taste mimics the Aroma and has a dry finish. The Palate is tingly and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer is nothing to get excited about as the flavor is very bad and I do not recommend trying this beer. ccex (1326) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 20, 2013
650 ml bottle pours a hazy golden color with tiny dishwater head. Aroma is that of corn, wheat, and cardboard. Taste is slightly bitter with a metallic aftertaste. Body is thin and almost flat. I did not have any spicy food in need of a fire extinguisher when I tried this, and can think of no other reason to try this one again. Pours slightly cloudy yellow-gold with a dishwater head...
Scent is faint...lemon, corn and water.
Taste is bread and water....slightly sour and completely flat.
Well.....to be honest? This is terrible. envane (572) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Hazy yellow with a white head. Weird vegetal/grain/smoke aroma. Taste was a lightly sweet boiled corn with a watery grassy finish. This was... odd.

What a label! Big pound plus bottle. Looks like hazy light pale lager, almost wheatish. Smell reminds me of old bottled lager too. Has an old lager beer flavor, aged, yah know? Low alky makes this tolerable. Somewhat weird, I’d like to try this fresh. I think taj mahal may have been better. This stuff even has trouble hiding 4.5%, tastes more like 6. I had some aged bedgy bottled lager that tasted like this. crossovert (13078) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 14, 2011
It struggles for form a head when it pours, it just immediately fizzles away. The body is a hazy gold.
The smell is almost nothing, but a hint of corn flakes, a pinch of honey, and white bread.
The taste is like sour bread flavored water, low carbonation.
Just really vile

650 mL bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with not much of a head. Aroma of sweet, syrupy malts with a bit of toastiness. The taste is grassy hops, toasted malts with a bit of a sugary finish and some apple-like fruit notes. Light and a little on the watery side. Much like your typical Indian restaurant fare. 5/11/10. dmac (6315) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 11, 2010
650 ml bottle of pure liquid nastiness. Poured about as attractive as a glas full of urine. Aroma of rotting cereal grains, corn and white grapes. Watery palate yet finishes slightly smokey yet this isn’t a rauchbier. Flavor is just plain disgusting. I did manage to knock off yet another country but at what price, I feel like I sold my soul over this one. drpimento (3670) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 20, 2009
Had this at Mayura Indian Resto in Milwaukee last night with dinner. Poured with small, soap bubble, white head and no lace. Color was gold. Aroma was most notably smokey along with some malt and a little hop. Flavor was about the same. Body was on the heavy side for the style and little carbonation. Finish was what you’d expect from the above description. Couldn’t finish the bottle of 500 ml. Friend I shared it with who used to be a high end beer distributor, agreed. Not a session.
