Bottle at Hogs Breath, Key West, Florida. Pourd clear amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Medium sweet grainy aroma. Light to medium body with a dry texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration. Good location, below average beer. vyvvy (6572) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 27, 2010
Pours light copper with a light colored soapy head. The aroma has toasted malt, light nuttiness, some butter and mild hops. Not light most pale lagers. Medium / light body with light carbonation. The flavor starts with the aroma notes with more spicy hops. The finish has an odd sourness. OK beer, good compared to most pale lagers. TheBeerGod (6241) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - SEP 24, 2003
Had this at the Hog's Breath Saloon in Key West on 9-15-03. Poured a brownish blond with white head. The nose has typical American Standard notes about it but it more malty and sweet than a typical one from the genre. Malted corn/rice tongue. Little complexity. Finishes dry but had a slight metallic tinge to it. Decent BMC beer and refreshing on a hot night. burg326 (5569) - Florida, USA - AUG 18, 2011
Drannk from the bottle, not the worst beer I’ve had... not very flavorful, some malt and caramel flavors, not too enjoyable. milewide (2287) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 4, 2009
More amber than straw for color. Thin head and body. Little aroma. Like a diluted amber ale!

Kinda fun to drink if you happen to be at the Hog's Breath Saloon; other than that, there is no reason to drink this mediocre brew. VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 17, 2001
Gimmick style american lager. Commercially brewed for a saloon in Key West, Florida. Aimed for the mainstream taste. Light all around. Hints of Fuggles hoppiness quickly faded. jujubeast6000 (854) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 22, 2008
(bottle): Drank from the bottle, couldn’t rate the appearance too well. Clearish. Malty aroma, some nutiness. Malty taste, not much flavor. Warming up...more maltiness, some spiciness. Lagerish. Ehh. Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 9, 2004
It’s what you would expect. Sour, weak, flat and with a nice metallic note to end with. The atmosphere of the Hog’s Breath could not even save this one. Try the locally made stuff instead.

When in the keys at least support the local brew, Key West Lager, not this tourist trap.
