Drannk from the bottle, not the worst beer I’ve had... not very flavorful, some malt and caramel flavors, not too enjoyable. vyvvy (6734) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 27, 2010
Pours light copper with a light colored soapy head. The aroma has toasted malt, light nuttiness, some butter and mild hops. Not light most pale lagers. Medium / light body with light carbonation. The flavor starts with the aroma notes with more spicy hops. The finish has an odd sourness. OK beer, good compared to most pale lagers. milewide (2315) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 4, 2009
More amber than straw for color. Thin head and body. Little aroma. Like a diluted amber ale! jujubeast6000 (854) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 22, 2008
(bottle): Drank from the bottle, couldn’t rate the appearance too well. Clearish. Malty aroma, some nutiness. Malty taste, not much flavor. Warming up...more maltiness, some spiciness. Lagerish. Ehh. Tmoney99 (14978) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 15, 2008
Bottle at Hogs Breath, Key West, Florida. Pourd clear amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Medium sweet grainy aroma. Light to medium body with a dry texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration. Good location, below average beer.

Bottle: Slammed a few of these on a night out in Key West. Pours a yellowish color with a small white head. Aroma is kind of sour and malty. Flavor is flat but more flavorful than the other beers you’ll find on Duval St. Finish was dry but the atmosphere helped it to be refreshing on a hot night. Worth a try! Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 9, 2004
It’s what you would expect. Sour, weak, flat and with a nice metallic note to end with. The atmosphere of the Hog’s Breath could not even save this one. Try the locally made stuff instead.

Average, bland beer. That being said, if you're at the Hog's Breath, you're not there for the beer, and the other choices are mostly worse than this, so certainly worth a try. TheBeerGod (6261) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - SEP 24, 2003
Had this at the Hog's Breath Saloon in Key West on 9-15-03. Poured a brownish blond with white head. The nose has typical American Standard notes about it but it more malty and sweet than a typical one from the genre. Malted corn/rice tongue. Little complexity. Finishes dry but had a slight metallic tinge to it. Decent BMC beer and refreshing on a hot night. Ringo (963) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - AUG 21, 2003
Kinda fun to drink if you happen to be at the Hog's Breath Saloon; other than that, there is no reason to drink this mediocre brew.
