This one was drain pout. Brassy red body with a full head. Wet shoe and burn sugar and caramel aromas emanate off the glass. The taste is not much better. Burnt sugar, burnt caramel, bubblegum, and shoe on the palate. Burnt caramel and bubblegum lingering finish. BroadestTom (457) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 6, 2015

Good beer from a nano-brewery. The beer had a nice flavor, good color, and a nice aroma. Worth a try Parrothead (297) - Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 12, 2011
On tap at the pub. The beer menu describes it as "red in color with a medium body, slight caramel sweetness and a balance more towards malt than hops." Not really too much more to say - except my wife, who states that she detests beer, had a sip and declared it very good. Then with our meal, she did something I’ve never seen or heard her do in 25 years - she ordered a beer, the German Wheat. I think JoBoys are on to something here... italianjohn (3312) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 2, 2011

Draft at Joboy’s. Pours straw colored with off-white head. Nose is malt, vinous fruit, some hops. Tastes of resiny hops, vinous fruit, earthy, with some yeasty esters and a decent complexity. kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 9, 2010
On tap, at brewpub. Clear copper body with a small wispy off-white head that fell to a thin ring. Minimal nose, just a touch of thin caramel malt. The flavor is a touch grainy and thin with some weak caramel malt. Just a light touch of bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel is a little thin with fizzy carbonation. Some lingering light husky notes. Meh.
