3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap 4 oz. sample at Maryland Microbrewery Festival at Union Mills Homestead in Westminster, MD. Clear, amber orange with small off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of yeast, floral hops, wheat, caramel, citrus and spice. Taste of lemon, grapefruit, pine, spice, yeast, wheat and caramel. Medium body and medium/light carbonation with a pleasant mouthfeel. As the name implies, this beer has elements of both a Belgian wit and an Anerican IPA. The flavors blend well once the beer has had a chance to warm a bit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
