3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This golden APA starts with a nice aroma, unfortunately the flavor is completely unbalanced with hop bitterness dominating any trace of malt.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ Union Station Brewery with Erica earlier today in Providence. Dark orange/amber pour. Citrusy nose and a neutral, thin palate. A little dry, kind of nondescript but good underlying sweet malt profile.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draught at the Framingham location, 5/27/2005. Light yellow-gold appearance with hints of light amber and a small white head that quickly recedes to a bubbly film, no lacing, slight chill haze. Aroma has bits of sweaty hay, light grainy vienna-like malt (not that that’s actually in there) and some floral/perfumey hops. Almost smells more like a pilsener than an IPA. The flavor, though, was quite solid, I thought. A good body provided by lightly doughy malt (white bread, honey, light biscuits). Low hops bitterness, but a moderate hops flavor of light lemon, tangerines and grassiness. Herbal finish, with light pale malts and a medium body overall, touch of wateriness, but a pretty solid, low carbonated mouthfeel. Very drinkable.

(Draught at Union Station location) Poured amber and clear with small, sparse and white head. Aroma was malty and herbal. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Tasted of malts, teabag, lightly fruity and bitterness. Hoppy and mildly bitter aftertaste.
