Buttery, pencil shavings and malt aroma. Hazy, medium dark brown, lacing head. Tart, malty, basil and pepper, light vinegar. Reminded me of eadint an Italian sub somehow. Light brininess. Finishes tart. Complex, very different, mouthy. Pittsburgh. dberger624 (1028) - Voorhees, New Jersey, USA - FEB 20, 2004
Cask at the Grey Lodge in Philly. This was from the Springfield, Pa location. Had this with egajdzis. Pretty boring beer. Very light and like he said. Tasted like tea and this might have been better if it was hot outside. egajdzis (6502) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2004
Poured a pale gold color with no head or lace. Wheat aroma and a taste that only reminded me of my mom's non-sweetened iced tea. This was rather dull, although possibly tasting this under different circumstances, (90 degree summer day) might yield different results. But this was not the case on a 30 degree Philly winter night.
