On tap at USB 08/13/2012 with Erica. Beer I had was called the Buster Brown. I don’t know if that’s this one, but there is no info available online on the Buster Brown, and since some of their other beers go by multiple names, I’m going to assume this is it. Anyway, the beer I drank had a deep fudge color with a brown tint (very nice). Aroma was sweet cherry with nuts and chocolate. Flavors were on the same track. They go light on the nut, which I love. Tap at USB. Named "USB Friar Brown", with 5.5% ABV. Great brown ale. Aromas of caramel, chocolate, and a touch of spice. Taste is sweet, with good length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Brown, with no head. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - DEC 29, 2009
On tap at brew house. Poured a deep amber topped with a thin one finger tan head. A faint nutty and toasted bread aroma. The taste is bigger than the aroma, but follows suit along with a sweet maltiness. Rich, full mouth feel, very drinkable.

Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Billed as "Havisham Nut Brown Ale." Cloudy dark brown pour with a filmy white head, faint roasted peanut aroma, caramel and mixed nuttiness in the taste, but a timid watery finish.

On tap at the Harvard location billed as the Havishum Nut Brown. Pours a lightly hazy ruby/brown amber with an average creamy lacing head. Aroma of toasted malts, nuts, caramel and hints of honey. Flavor of toasted sweet malts, some light nuts and caramel.
