It’s quaffable, yet nothing much better than any pale ale. I found it a little too bitter for my taste.
5 oz draft sampler pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of malts, floral and citrus. Taste is malts and a hint of citrus. arnold931 (1264) - Iowa, USA - MAY 19, 2014
Draft at Brewhouse in Cambridge. Okay pale. Pours bright copper with white head. Nose is pine. Taste is also pine with a little caramel. A little thin in the mouthfeel. SrSilliGose (3332) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - JAN 31, 2013
Tap. Simple herbal grassy hops. Subtle. Lemon kissed cracker malts. Dry. Watery. Okay. DedicatedToFun (4003) - Santa Monica, California, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Not a bad pale ale, not as hippy or good as the IPA. But would jaw again straight from the tap. mgioino (12) - Glen Head, New York, USA - JUL 23, 2011
Tried this along with the Hop Magic and Pumpkin spice beers. The Pale Ale was by far the best. It has a full body with lots of flavor. Very smooth with almost no carbonation.

Pint glass at Lake Grove location. Beer was not as cold as I would have liked. It is a dark brown color with basically no lace. Going down it is smooth with a slighty bitter aftertaste. All in all a good home brew pale ale. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2011
Reviewed from notes. On tap at the Harvard location.
Pours a moderate golden-orange color with a white head and a bit of lacing. The nose brings some nice orange and citrus hops with a bit of bready malt. The taste is slightly hoppy with a bit of bread, though there’s not too much going on there. The feel is slightly bitter and pretty good overall. This drinks quite well and a was a nice, quaffable beer.

he beer pours a very dark gold with lots of orange highlights. The head is white with lots of retention and good lacing.
The aroma is light mostly sweet citrus but not very complex.
The taste is ok, a little blah. It starts a little sweet with some bitter notes but finishes with a little skunk.
The feel is ok with a dry finish.
Overall, ok, nothing special. jonas (8035) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - NOV 15, 2010
Tap at the Harvard brepub.
Cloudy amber, low creamy offwhite head. Light bready and citric aroma
Grainy base, a few edges, good grassy counterpoint. Chewy, moreish and satisfying. Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 16, 2010
A dark amber ale woth a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, light caramel malt with faint British hops. In mouth, a clean crisp biscuitty malt with light British hops, a bit underwhelming, chalkey notes. OK but nothing special. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, July 1 2010.
