Pours pale gold. Lightly bready with some citrusy sweetness. A small amount of hops for body. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 17, 2011
Tap at JH - Hazy orange thin white head. Light crackery grains. Light caramel malty. Nice carbonation. Fruity apples, soft bodied, yeasty spice. Decent for light, warm weather drinking. JoeMcPhee (10129) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2008
Pale golden beer, thin white head. Aroma is lightly bready with pale two row cereal-like aroma. Not much in the way of hop character... just a soft bit of bittering to balance it. Sort of an indistinct fruitiness. Meh. fredandboboflo (1570) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2008
Tap. Aroma of light citrus, very sweet strawberry, very slight hops. Flavor of wheat/grains, sweet malt, minimal hops, not much fruitiness left. Needs more hops for me. A bit weak. LilBeerDoctor (4229) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 1, 2008
I wasn’t really sure how to categorize this beer, because it is only listed as a "blonde lager", but hopefully I have chosen correctly. On tap at John Harvards. Pours a light gold with a very small white head. Aroma of stale wheat. Flavor of the same, quite bland. No real hop presence. More refreshing than some lagers perhaps, but this was somewhat of a letdown as I was exoecting it to be a little fruiter, more spritzy. In any case, I’d bypass this one if you’re at JH. Probably one of the worst of their beers I’ve had.
