Looks like any ale, slightly red, has a head which rapidly goes a way and leaves some bohemian silk left. Smell is a bit sweet, and much like lagers often are. Taste goes the same way. This is probably one of the most non-offensive ales for a while. Silky, easy, mellow, and a bit average. But in good way. I reckon this is a great people’s beer. Nothing too fancy, definitely affordable, and still nice. Mocking a good choice of an average citizen would be slap to their face with a snob clove. I rather claim this is nice beer, and rank some ridiculously priced fancy pants beer down to hell.

Keg in a mobile pub at the New Haw & Woodham Midsummer Event. Not much aroma - vaguely wet cardboard. To be fair it looks good. Opaque chestnut. Thick off-white head. It slips down well - soft and creamy, but abrupt. However it tastes of very little - a sour tinged light bitter. Completely inoffensive. If there’s nothing else available I’ll settle for it, unless I decided to go for something other than beer.

Light brown color with a silky, thin layer of light ecru bubbles. Nitro pour, but still a good look. Floor malt and light floral hops aromas. Soft, slightly watery feel. Lightly toasted malt and pecan flavors. Easy drinking bitter. 4/13

Can. Pours hazy brown with thin but long lasting head. It has the usual biscuity bitter notes in aroma and taste but is painfully, terribly watery and thin. Meh.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2017 F: thin, light tan, good retention. C: coppery, clear. A: toast, caramel, hint of buttery, malt. T: malt, caramel, nice grassy/floral bitterness, roasted tones, touch of dark bread, medium body, medium carbonation, not bad for me as well, 0,5l can from Farsons Direct shop in Malta.

Light malty nose, with light piney notes from the hops. No yeast or fruity notes. Medium light body, some sweetness, moderate bitterness. No real noble hop flavor. Bitter finish with no harshness. Pleasant everyday ale but nothing special. Tastes a bit thin. Unfiltered draught product might be better if available.
