Draft pint from the Moerlein Lager House. Pours a clear gold with a small white head that laces the glass. Aroma of citrus (orange and grapefruit), grass, caramel, and wet leaves. The flavor has a long citrusy note, with pine resin, grass, and florals. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a clean, juicy mouthfeel. Refreshing, tasty, and not overly bitter. Nice IPA. Tmoney99 (14479) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 7, 2013
Draft. Poured a clear light copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus and earthy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where surpassed. On tap. Clear orange color. Thin white head, leaves good lace. Medium body, smooth crisp lighter carbonation. Easy drinking, with a more dry finish. Lighter grassy hop profile, lightly spicy hop, light citrus. Pilsener malt works well with the subdued hop profile, aiding to this beer’s smooth drinkability. Very well-balanced. Malt profile is more biscuity and peppery, lightly toasty, no caramel sweetness, I appreciate that. Moderate bitter taste, lightly spicy, minimal sweet. Solid, light easy-drinking IPA. b3shine (8872) - Indiana, USA - NOV 5, 2013
Draft to pint at Listermann this past weekend. Looks good; orange with foamy off-white head. Smells and tastes solid; hoppy with a fairly big pale malt backbone. Solid on the palate. Good, but well short of their Intergalactic IPA.
