Bottle. The pour was a murky medium golden orange with an average (1-2 finger) white frothy head that diminished down to a thin cap with a small collar and had some good sheets of streaky lacing. The aroma was of a light grain malt, a mild floral hop and a funky barnyard Brett yeast with notes of green apple, citrus (orange), white wine, a mild peppery spice and a slight tartness. The taste had a decent tartness and a slight fruity sweetness with a hint of green apple and a mild wine presence early on, then become very sour with a mild citrus sweetness, a strong funky yeast taste and a mild bitter peppery ending. The flavor lasted and average time proceeding the swallow with a tart citrus peel bitter taste left behind. Mouthfeel was light in body with a dry, watery texture and a fizzy carbonation. Overall a satisfying sweetly-tart Farmhouse Ale with a strong bitter presence and a nice spicy finish...

(Jolly Pumpkin Bam Biere) Tap at Stoom, Nijmegen, served into a teku. Golden yellow colour on the body, clear, with a small and thin white head on top, average retention. Fruity aroma with some yeast and grass, some peach too. Taste is nicely sour with touches of peach, quite fruity, grass. Thin body with soft carbonation. Okay, it seems a bit past its prime.

Bottle. Golden orange, hazy. Saisonny spicy light clove cardemonny, strawy malty, sharp bittercitrussy woody farmy nose. Lightish bodied, full flavoured, intense for the abv. Some yeastyness, spicy. Really nice well rendered dryish saison.

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a slighlty unclear gold with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Light lemon, pear and herbal aromas. Light on the palate with some tartness evident. Faint hoppiness that leads to a smooth finish.
