Bottle. The pour was a murky medium golden orange with an average (1-2 finger) white frothy head that diminished down to a thin cap with a small collar and had some good sheets of streaky lacing.
The aroma was of a light grain malt, a mild floral hop and a funky barnyard Brett yeast with notes of green apple, citrus (orange), white wine, a mild peppery spice and a slight tartness.
The taste had a decent tartness and a slight fruity sweetness with a hint of green apple and a mild wine presence early on, then become very sour with a mild citrus sweetness, a strong funky yeast taste and a mild bitter peppery ending. The flavor lasted and average time proceeding the swallow with a tart citrus peel bitter taste left behind.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a dry, watery texture and a fizzy carbonation.
Overall a satisfying sweetly-tart Farmhouse Ale with a strong bitter presence and a nice spicy finish...
Sampled in Ann Arbor at their brewery. Its sour aspect OK but way too light.

Draft at The Jolly Pumpkin in Ann Arbor Michigan. A nice clean and crisp ale that perfectly paired with the excellent pizza at the bar/restaurant. Kind of sour but that’s okay.
