One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

bottle poured into a snifter. Active off white head that quickly reduces to a cap, black as oil hue. Nose features slight sourness. Tart apple, cherry, and slight orange taste, somewhat earthy. Light and crisp mouthfeel, finishes to the dry side. Tasty little sour ale. Rated via BeerBuddy

Capped with a medium off-white head aloft atop a brass colored hazy brown body, Bam Noire is quite sour with some herby earth notes, and hints of smokiness. Too sour for my tastes.

Pours a dark brown color, with a medium off white head. Aroma has some roastiness, lost in sour wine notes. Taste is mildly sweet upfront, yeasty with a moderate sour wine feel. Not my thing.

Sweet, malty nose with some mustiness, dried fruit and cherry or berry. Pours dark ruby brown with thick, white, quick foam. Tart first flavors with moderate fizz and a slightly phenol finish. Medium / light body with saline notes and a sour and dry finish. It has a distinct vinous profile that matches the lightness of the body; combined with the saline flavors it becomes a little vinegary. The brett yeast is muted, but becomes more noticeable as the beer warms.

At the MBR Sour Beer tasting. Thanks Dassa Gozza! Poured a dark amber/brown body. Funky, mild aroma, slightly sweetish. Extremely light taste, liiight red wine barrel (I guess?), some mild peppery bitterness, slightly tart and extremely light. Did I say it was light? It was. A huge disappointment.
