COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

Dark brown with a white head. Aroma and taste are mildly sour, and not as complex or delicious as I’ve come to expect from JP. $6/12oz

Sampled at their brewery in Ann Arbor. A decent sour flavor but lacking in character. Sorry these notes were just for myself now I'm forced to publish them and need more characters to do so, hence this sentence ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

65cl Bottle @ Cervezalandia, Vall d'Uixo, Spain Dark brown colour with a thin white head. Aroma is yeast, grapes, ripe fruit, vinegar. Taste is yeast, plums, sweet, tart. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

jinroh (2005) - ESTONIA - SEP 16, 2017
Pours nice brown, some foam left but not very much carbonated. Nice tart and funky nose, some chocolate aroma hints there as well. Relatively subtle berries. Taste is sour at first, coffee, light berries and not sweet dark fruits. I agree that everything feels a bit toned down, so if they could amp moat of the flavour elements, that would be really amazing. Still a great beer though. Bitter finish and quite dry chocolaty linger.

Nice funky nose with chocolate, oak and cherries, light mouth with modest tartness and finishes with chocolate cake. A bit watery. Has potential but does take it to the next Step.

jbruner (5008) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 27, 2017
Pours a murky black from the bottle with bubbly tan head that dissipates slowly to leave moderate lace. Aroma of musty funk and a nice touch of lactic acidity with a hint of roasty malt behind. Taste is more acidic, less funk, roast still there in the background. Pretty solid.

25.4floz (750ml) bottle, BOD: 07.23.2017,bought on sale for $4, poured into a large snifter glass. So lets see how it aged after sitting on a store shelf for about four years. It appears brown, translucent when light shines through, and possesses a might head. The aroma is leathery, and earthy. The palate is thin, and age does not seem to have much of a detrimental affect on the oh so very mild flavor, which is similar to the aroma.I kinda dig this as a brown session farmhouse ale (or whatever).

Bottle thanks to Levi! Deep brown pour with red highlights. Tart red apple and some shag tobacco. Dark berry preserves. Bucolic Belgian yeast. Salted wood. Tart flavor. Some balsamic-dipped wood. Pennies. A bit of butter on the finish. Lots going on, but it’s pretty fun. Medium body, prickly carb.
