One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

Draft. Poured an amber-brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma is a touch citrus, with some slightly funky brett notes, and malts. Flavor is a little thin, but quite enjoyable none the less, citrus notes, some lightly toasted malts. Pretty smooth and enjoyable.

25.4floz (750ml) bottle, BOD: 07.23.2017,bought on sale for $4, poured into a large snifter glass. So lets see how it aged after sitting on a store shelf for about four years. It appears brown, translucent when light shines through, and possesses a might head. The aroma is leathery, and earthy. The palate is thin, and age does not seem to have much of a detrimental affect on the oh so very mild flavor, which is similar to the aroma.I kinda dig this as a brown session farmhouse ale (or whatever).

FROTHINGSLOSH (7901) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 16, 2017
Sampled on draft at Zeno’s this beer poured a murky brown color with a large fluffy tan head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was sourish with soy sauce ,red wine, Brett and vinegar notes. Flavor was wood, brett, vinegar and bread dough. Long finish. Medium body. Disappointing.

Bottle thanks to Levi! Deep brown pour with red highlights. Tart red apple and some shag tobacco. Dark berry preserves. Bucolic Belgian yeast. Salted wood. Tart flavor. Some balsamic-dipped wood. Pennies. A bit of butter on the finish. Lots going on, but it’s pretty fun. Medium body, prickly carb.

I do not drink that much, but I have fantasies about this beer. I remember it like one of the best damn things one could want in a beer - thick, dark, smooth but significant taste. Everything one could want in something dark. This beer is probably the best I’ve ever tasted.

(Jolly Pumpkin Bam Noire) Tap at Stoom, Nijmegen. Dark red colour on the body, mostly clear, with almost a finger of tan head on top, average retention. Aroma of red grapes, wine, wood. Taste is a sweet and sour combination, with red grapes, berries, faint wood. Thin body, low carbonation. Good.

Tap @ Sori Taproom. Poured deep amber, near brown. Thick light brown head. Aroma has ripe fruits, tartness, mild vinegar. Flavor has plums, ripe red fruits, sourness, cellar notes. Enjoyable.
