Rated from February notes. Bottle sample poured light hazy yellow. Nose tart, but yet some sweet malt. Taste sour and tart up front, with tart fruit. Mild bitter in the finish. Very smooth mouth feel. Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUL 31, 2014
Batch 1. Pours cloudy gold with a thin white head. The nose is horse blanket, funky cheese and vinegar. The taste is lemon peel, aspirin and vinegar. Medium prickly mouthfeel. Tasty. 4.2 can8ianben (1545) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 15, 2014
Funky sour that leans toward dry yeastiness rather than fruity sour notes. Really tasty. Christpuncher (3135) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 5, 2014

11.2oz bottle, blend 4, bottle 12-23-2011. Thanks, Atom! Pours a hazed light gold color with a large white head. Aromas of lots of funk, vaginal bacteria, sweat and oak. Taste is mildly tart, with a mineral presence, some oak is offered and a whole lotta funk. Bone dry. Medium-low carb. Finish is sweaty, oaky, musty with gym socks and crotch itch. Fantastic. Would drink again and again. Atom, please send me more of this!!!Clownoisseur (482) - Buchanan, Michigan, USA - JAN 11, 2014
I FUCKING LOVE CROTCH FUNK!!!
Blend 2, bottled 3/15/2011. Pours a light blonde, fine carbonation, minimal head, very fine lacing. Aroma of must, oak, grapefruit, peach and a bit more funk. Taste is pretty acidic. Strong musty basement, hints of oak, more ctirus/grapefruit/peach...and some vineous notes. Very nice blend. The finish is very sharp, dry and acidic. Great sour. 11oz. bottle shared by what’s his face. Aroma is mineral, lemon peel, brine, pears, and barnyard. Pours light blonde with a wispy film throughout the whole beer. Very well carbonated (but not overly). Taste is light with notes of lemon, starfruit, pear, brine, barnyard funk and mineral. This is about as close to a perfect Belgian gueuze that I’ve ever had from an American brewery. For such a subtle style I say, "Bravo, Jolly Pumpkin." jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 19, 2013
