COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’ve teamed up with Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales to create a special collaborative oak aged ale with plums, brewed to celebrate Plum Market’s 5 year anniversary. The special sour blend is aged on organic Royal Diamond plums; it’s an amber with a hint of roast, malty, sweet, and sour, and the delicate aroma and delicious flavor of more plums than you can shake a stick at.

Bottle thanks to rayl101, thanks Kevin! Pours a golden copper with a thin head, the aroma was of slight fruit with just a little bit of funk mixed in, I was hoping for a little bit more, the plum does come through in the flavor of the beer though with a little bit of funk and sourness in the finish, not overpowering by any means, the funk and sourness is subtle, still nice.

750mL Bottle. Thanks so much Sean! Bushy, fervent and wild cherry acid aroma. Some plum juice lingers, but I wouldn’t call the character bold. Palate moves along more mildly. The eccentric strength of the aroma lays down to a more watery, wistful texture and a lack of punch. This might be the first JP beer that I would call thin. Some oaky dust, faded grasses, and some mouth puckering astringency on the sides of the tongue. Sadly, an underwhelming effort. My hopes must have been too high.

Dedollewaitor (16419) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 17, 2012
Bottle @ Fanø Slumber Party, 2012. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Dark fruit, oak and funk. Tart, crisp and dry. Not overly complex like a normal J.P but quite lovely and drinkable.

Hazy amber pour, off white head. Prunes, light woodsy notes, some tart balsamic vinegar, dried apples, yeast. Tart flavor, yeasty, prunes, vinegar, wood.

MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 10, 2012
transparent red copper, thin fizzy white dissipates quickly to a thin ring. Nose is woody, manure, spiced and light berry acetic. Woody front, berries mid, more spice and soft peach finish with Brett chalkiness. Flavor a bit too full for palate, but well balanced, intriguing. Bit watery.
