Draft at The Jeffrey Craft Beer, Cocktails & Bites, 311 East 60th St, NYC. Pours hazy pale gold with a very small white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, citrus and sour berries. Light to moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness, light sour, touch of salt. Light to medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Finish is dry, bitter sweet/sour. A very good saison. Anova167 (372) - Manhattan Beach, California, USA - JUN 25, 2017
Dark golden pour with a soapy head that dissipates very quickly. Bursting with funky citrus aroma and some lacto. Intital flavor is citrus juice with salt, following with a bit of bready malt and a dryer finish. This is a pretty salty beer which i enjoy a lot. The mouthfeel is silky with iittle carb. This is an interesting beer that tart enough and funky enough to go in the sour/wild ale category. superspak (5781) - Michigan, USA - JUN 19, 2017
750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/23/2016. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tart lemon, lime, tangerine, grapefruit, citrus peel, pineapple, peach, apricot, melon, pear, green apple, coriander, hay, straw, herbal, grass, sea salt, oak, pepper, wheat, and cracker; with lighter notes of leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, oranges, citrus peels, spices, oak barrel, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart lemon, lime, tangerine, grapefruit, citrus peel, pineapple, peach, apricot, melon, pear, green apple, coriander, hay, straw, herbal, grass, sea salt, oak, pepper, wheat, and cracker; with lighter notes of leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, tangerine, grapefruit, citrus peel, pineapple, peach, apricot, melon, pear, green apple, coriander, hay, straw, herbal, grass, sea salt, oak, pepper, wheat, cracker, light funk/vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, oranges, citrus peels, spices, oak barrel, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/spiciness balance, and no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from tart/spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/grainy/acidic, and lightly sticky/tangy/tannic/saline balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.8%. Overall this is an awesome fruited saison style! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, oranges, citrus peels, spices, oak barrel, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink, with the balanced tart/spicy finish. Spot on balance between fruit, spices, and classic JP house funk profile; with just enough malt presence to balance the acidity. A highly enjoyable offering. jredmond (8441) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 21, 2017

Bottle I grabbed at JP in Detroit, pours a clear, bright gold with some foamy, white head. Nose is very nice, some clear citrus, a bright vinegary acid, some light wood, a hint of perfumey sweetness lurks, but also some funk too. Flavor is tart with both citric acid and a vinegar character, straw, a barnyard character, all throughout there’s a clear orange character resonating, some light herbs. Finishes dry, tart, crisp. Exceptional. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JUN 4, 2016

The flavor starts with light-moderate citrus with a touch of peach. The finish has light-moderate lemon, citrus peel, tart orange, and mild florals. It?s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Got a bottle from the Ann Arbor pub. Pours a pale yellow color with a spotty white head. Zesty floral nose. Tart flavors of orange and lime. Very refreshing. Bubbly and salty finish. Good stuff. Stylurus (57) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - APR 10, 2016
Thin head which dissipates quickly. Aroma of citrus/orange and fruit. Color of light, golden yellow. Sour and tart, not unlike a Berliner Weisse. Carbonation and tingly on the tongue. Refreshing!
