Crushed with Jakebra. Interesting brew. Spicy, funky nose. Flavor has some nuts, some orange, some funky brett and subtle sourness. Very light, dry finish. Incredibly drinkable, and pretty damn nice. bhops (433) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 4, 2009
Pours golden amber with thick rocky head... aroma of brett, malts and floral notes. Flavor is brett... nice sourness but not overwhelming... smooth. Nuttiness at finish. Very nice. Pwn3d (1962) - Manhattan, New York, USA - MAR 2, 2009

Bottle courtesy of Naka, Batch 244/245. Pours orange with yellow hues, white foamy head with good lacing. Notes of apple, pear, citric sour, lots of funk and a caramel not at the end. Sweet taste up front of malt caramel with apple and pear sweetness, then citrusy sour notes with mild funk. N nice sweetness returns at the end, cutting through the sour. Tasty brew. Dry and chalky. jredmond (8338) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 24, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2014 Bottle. Pours an orange body with barely any head. Tart aroma, some tart in the flavor - macadamia nuts. Extremely sessionable. Batch 336.
RERATE:: Draft at Pony HK with Linh. What a treat. Pours a deep murky brownish orange body with thin soapy white lacing. Aroma is super nice - great lemon funk character and white wine barrel. Mouthfeel is thin with the flavors coming through much more muted. The sourness is toned down many notched in comparison to what the nose advertises. Still, a strangely sessionable sour amber ale. From bottle courtesy of Naka. Batch 244,245. Awesome funky aroma. Bretty with oak and farmhouse funk. Pears, lactic acid and nice fruity tart quality. Little bit of grassy hops, too. Golden amber clear with light huge, topped with white lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts tart, fruity with tons of Brett. Big and lactic all through but softens up quite well at the finish with sweet pears and bit of pilsner malt. Dry bitter after - light chalky. Nice and a little weak. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - FEB 12, 2009
Nose of of oak barel tartness, funk, some nutty toasty notes in the background as well. Light sweetness from the malts. Pours bright orange gold with a thin head. The flavor is very funky with a pleasant tartness that lingers throughout. Nutty flavors as well as caramel malt sweetness makes it way in there as well. Light tart fruity aspects as well. Lingering funky funkness in the finish. Very good. darkguardian (733) - Florida, USA - FEB 12, 2009
22oz bottle. Pours a deep yellow almost orange with a thick foamy head. Massive carbonation as is typical of JP. Nose is very nutty, nutmeg, apple, yeast and hazelnut. Taste is slightly sour up front with a complex nutty middle and a snappy hoppy finish. Lingering sourness and caramel notes. Awesome as usual with JP.
