Slightly hazy, dark amber pour with a 3 finger, fluffy beige head. Aroma of nice musty funk, basement, nutty notes, stone fruit pits, toast, light caramel. Flavor is nice earthy leaves, toast, caramel and nutty notes up front, nice ripe fruity notes, sweet potatoes, light woody notes, nuts, green wood and toasty bread. Light body with a dry fee, and moderate strength, blanketing, spritzy carbonation. Really good stuff.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fruity, citrus, yeast, hay, mild sour berries, banana, hay, oak. Taste is slightly sour-ish, sorrel, hay, yeast, citrus, citrus peel, cardboard, grass, oak. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice enough.
Bottled. Pours hazy golden with an average off-white head. Aroma of funk, caramel notes, citrus, peachy and spices. Sweet flavor that ends up being dry and a little tart. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and average carbonation. A very nice Ale. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 SirLimpsalot (4284) - SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2017

Bottle, about 2 years old now. Spicy, cakelike nose, chestnuts, caramel. Glowing orange-amber, clear, with lace. Sweet and sour flavor, spicy, chestnuts, yogurt, pumpkin pie spice. The spice is a bit overdone, but it is pretty good. copestx (227) - Vesterbro, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2017
Bottle in Austin ("Vintage Reserve 2015"). Some brett and fruit in the aroma but not that strong. But the taste is super complex while also being well-balanced -- bretty, chestnuts, peaches, citrus, oak and a nice spicy finish. Tasted better the closer to cellar temp that it got, the flavors really shined through where when cold it was a bit underwhelming. Strong beer, a bother solid wild ale from JP. On Tap @ ChurchKey, Washington, DC - Poured light, cloudy amber-gold. Light sweet citrus aromas with earth yeast/bread tones. Flavor complex and balanced... lots of different noted to enjoy... bright citrus, earthy chestnut, subtle spice, and a bit of saison . Moderate body. Clean finish. Overall, its easier to load a beer with something to make an impression - this beer maintains balance and complexity without a big hit of one or another flavor. My favorite in a side by side tasting of three. MarcoDL (5015) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 15, 2017
