COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ok, so the joke was that Jolly Pumpkin doesn’t brew a pumpkin beer. Well, now we do. Just this one. Packed with real pumpkins, hints of spice, and a gentle kiss of cocoa to liven the soul. An everyday easy way to fill your squashy quotient. Guess now folks will have to find something else to joke about...

Wow, wow, wow! This beer is fantastic! I don’t really taste any pumpkin but I do taste rich sour apricot. There is some La Roja in there but with a soft round fruitiness. Bitter lemon rind off the back of the tongue. My nose did not want to leave the rim of the glass. Appearance perfection. Golden and cloudy. I am going to mix this with the Bruery’s Autumn Maple to get a more pronounced pumpkin/yam flavor.

Tart, spicy aromas. A hazy pumpkin orange. Smooth pumpkin light spice the cacao adds a nice richness to the beer. Very refreshing. Light spice cacao left behind.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2011 Hazy orange-amber with good, creamy, off-white head / Tart nose of orchard fruit, caramel, pumpkin and brett / Light body, acidic and moderately tart, lively, fine, carbonation, with good balance and finish / Flavors of apple, pumpkin, caramel, chrysanthemum, straw, coriander, clove, nutmeg, cocoa, and barnyard funk / Superb, but what isn’t from JP.
