Stumbled across this beer that I didn't know I had a sticker on the back says bottled on Halloween 2012. Aroma is tart, dark ripe fruits a little malt. Average appearance.. flavor is a like aroma a little more interesting and complex hints of cocoa and Oak. Body is a touch thin. Very good finish and fairly easy drinking for a sour beer. Shared 750 ml. bottle poured to snifters displaying a hazed amber color, with a presentable layer of off white/light tan foam, and dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was subtle funk, tartness, slight oak, spice, fruitiness as cherry, berries, and plum, with a touch of vinous nature. The taste was similar notes, medium bodied, continuing tartness, warmth, and some earthy & rind-like bitterness. Nice sip & savor brew.
