375ml bottle. Yellow golden colour, frothy white foam head leaving some lacing and fruity, yeasty, funky aroma with some vanilla. Taste is grain, tart lemon rind, mellow sweet sugary, summer fruits, apricot, solventy, with woody oak, biscuit and funky yeast notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy finish. Quite OK.

Bottle. Light blond with a big rocky white head. Yeasty malt aroma with some citrus hops and pepper. Light body with some prickly carbonation, yeast and some green apple wild yeast, a bit of oaky phenolic, sour and spicy. Really liking this one.

Bottle share from friend. Very pale in color, taste is initially very golden/blonde, but yeast and other elements start to make this a heavier ale. Syrupy consistency, definite Belgian yeast character, but without the pit fruit elements in a lot of the strong ales.

Tap at the brewpub, Detroit. Pours lemon yellow, light ring of white head. Aroma is lemon, clove, sour note, lightly oaky, some Belgian spices. Really pleased with this. Flips back and forth with the sour and sweetness. Excellent.

Pours yellow and clean, low white head. Aroma of tart fruits, grapes, apples and pineapple too plus hint of oak. In taste tart, fruity (pineapple and tart fruitts) with some barnyard notes too. In the finish medium sour with nice oaky and low sweet finish. Very balanced, not too sour, very refreshing amd tasty.

Backlog. Shared bottle of batch 463 at Mi2 at Cardinal 06.05.13. Pale golden, almost clear. Aroma of gueze. Taste is sour at first, then more balanced, but still with some acid. There is more hops and sweetness in aftertaste, but still with sourness. Medium to dry mouthfeel. High drinkability.

Draft at Kaseys Tavern. Hazy yellow pour. Thin head. Served ice cold. Kind of sour malty aroma. Sherry vinegar and light funky yeast as well. Bright acidity up front, creamy wheatty middle, fermented apricot, solid oakiness, black pepper. Good sour grassy finish. Well made.
