Bottle on 9/13/06. Monstrous rocky white head that collapsed into a cloudy gold pour over the course of a few minutes. Complex aroma - yeasty, spicy, fruity, osur. Light carbonation accompanies a light/medium body. Honey, apricot, light caramel all bring some sweetness to the table, balnced by a spicy bitterness. Finishes with a refreshing dry bitterness and a slight sourness as well.

Bottle - Many thanks to jonboy32818 for this one!
Hazy orange body. Off-white rocky head (Orval like). Nice looks. Nice flavour of hops, orange, citrus, yeast. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter flavour. Very nice. Heavily bodied. Lovely beer!

A very nice looking beer. Poured a transparent straw color with a moderately thick billowing head. Well carbonated and mouthfeel was thinner than I expected, but nice. Aroma has a sweet yeastiness and an apple-like note to it. Tastes spicy-sour at first and finishes clean, sweet, and with some pepper notes. Very nice. Kind of a strong golden with some saison influences.

750 ML bottle courtesy of Jimbowood. Aroma and appearance are nice. Beer pours a nice golden color, smells like a saison with a tad bit of sourness to it. Taste is herbal/peppery with a finish of vinegar. Although the sourness is fairly weak, its just not my thing.

Beautiful pouring beer: Sparkling clear honey golden, with a thick, pillowy off white head, that lingers on and on, becoming more dense and whipped, a la Duvel. Aroma is nice and complex, with notes of sour fruit, honey, hay, oak, herbal/floral and spicy hops, yeast, and perhaps cookie dough.. Very fun indeed! The initial sip is tart on the tip of the tongue, which softens and moves towards honey and malt sweetness, and a touch of pepper towards the back of the throat.. The alcohol is very well concealed in the flavor spectrum. A unique, delicious, complex and well balanced brew from the fine folks at JP!!

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2006 Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev, my bottle. Cloudy light gold-orange, solid white head. Funky/yeasty aroma, incredibly spicy, herbal hops - very hoppy, just not resiny or sharp - like a BdG on steroids mixed with a nice gueuze and plenty of alcohol. Solid body, very very lively, spicy, sharp, acidic, alcoholic - really nice, unusual.

Hazy yellow honey hue, with a rocky white head, leaving laces, yeasty nose, earthy pale malt, barnyard, notes of fruity tartness of sour green apples, citrus fruits, flowery hops lemony, hints of wet oakiness and mustiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a nice mild yeasty tartness character, could even detect a note of brettanomyces of wild yeast here cool!!!, with a green apple sourness and acidity, with a zesty citrusy accent of grapefruit, lemon, hint of floral hops in a cheesy barnyard wet oakiness, leading towards a tart fruitiness in a spicy mild sharpness finish.

Hazy golden color with a HUGE white head that lasts forever. I drank it yesterday and its probably still there. Sucker is huge and everlasting. Delicious spicy aroma with notes of orchard fruit. One of those beers that you just want to sit there and sniff all night. Wonderful spicy flavor. Light bitterness. Earthy finish. A little bit tangy as well. I love this stuff.

Bottle. Amber beer with a big off-white head. Sweet/tart aroma - some spice and yeast, but mostly just a slight citrusy tartness. Yeasty, spicy, lemony, green apple flavor with nice tartness - not overwhelming. Nice cleansing flavor. Alcohol slightly noticeable. Finishes peppery, yeasty, and tart. High carbonation.
