Wersja butelkowa 2014.

Krągła pełnia, umiarkowane do wysokiego wysycenie i kwaskowo- alkoholowy finisz z nutami pieprznymi. Niezłe, ale liczyłem na większy wpływ beczki.

Like Jolly Pumpkins other brews, Oro de Calabaza reveals the smells and flavors of the Franco-Belgian farmhouse brewing techniques. Oro de Calabaza pours gold. Its nose is yeasty, floral, and peppery. Tastes like bread-like malt, grass, stone fruit, white pepper, and acidic funk. Theres some earthy sourness on the palate. Theres a lot of the old world in this brew.

Bottle, once bought at Erzbierschof Liebefeld, bottled 01-08-2013. Pours cloudy amber with a soft foam. Aroma is beautiful wooden barrel, apples, light yeast. Body is medium, lightly sour and a bit tart, lots of fruit, peach, soft carbonation. Palate lingers on stone fruit and yeast. Absolutely beautiful!

Pours usual orange, quite clear. Lacing and other great things going on with the foam. Aroma is nicely funky, frost bitten berries, soft sourness. Taste is also soft, some tannins there, smooth sour that has some bitter edges but still easily delivers what you are looking from sour beers. Well done.
