750mL bottle, thanks Ryan! Pours a hazy amber. Aroma is dry, tart, funky citrus. Flavor is lemon peel and barnyard funk, a bit of cherry and raisin. Finish has grapefruit and lemon bitterness. Fantastic.
Pours a slightly hazy dark orange color with apricot-colored edges and one finger off-white head that quickly settles into a thin ring. Minimal spotty lacing let behind.
Very vinous aroma with lots of dark fruit sweetness along with subtle toasted oak, vanilla and coconut notes. Really nice vinous barrel character along with funky bugs and a sweet malt backbone. Slightly one dimensional but nice juicy wine barrel notes and subtle funk elevate the aroma.
Medium body with low carbonation and subtle acetic acid. Tart and funky with vinous fruit notes and damp oak. Hints of strawberry and cream, grape and dark berries. Sweet and vinous presence opens up as it warms countered by prominent toasted oak and funky bugs. Complex but well balanced and pretty easy to drink. Subtle acidic/acetic harshness but otherwise, pretty good. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - APR 18, 2015
Bottle: Thanks, Matt! Cloudy orange color, not much head. Small floating sediment. Aroma is lightly vinous with a little booze, white wine, oak, light cherry, lemon, mild perfume. Lots of white wine & sopping woody notes, slightly acidic cherry skin, mineral lemon, perfume, faint acetone in the finish. Slightly under carbonated. Overall nice stuff. Thanks so much to James for sharing this one!
750ml bottle - Pours a cloudy orangish amber color with a thin white head. Smells of oak, dry sharp funk, and orange rind rot. Also a bit of old crayon. Taste is a long wave of dry brett and oaky fruited malt with a drying finish. Lots of light orange and tangerine in the mid-palate with strong oak at the end. Nearly bone dry, but it seems to have held up well! jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - APR 13, 2012

pours a chestnut brown with so e red hues and a thinner off white head. The nose has a creamy lactic acid note up front, some bright fruits, red grapes, light Brett. The flavor is very lactic and creamy, light vanilla notes with some minty Brett presence. Very sweet, light to medium body, creamy with an assertive carbonation. dark amber, translucent, larger bubbled thin white ring after dissipation. Nose is peach, tangerine, oak sweetness, much more sweet than deviation, bit minty, candy-like. Flavor is husky, oak, bit medicinal, minty and lemon menthol across mid-finish, end is bitter, bit peachy, rooty, lots of creamy lactic finish, almost ice cream sweetness. Oddly candy yet minty experience throughout, contrasting though controlled.
