Very light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is airy, fairly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, trace of creamy sweetness. Light and tangy lemon - orange citrus. Light floralness that gets a little bitter. Mild botanicals and a touch of cucumber. Smooth semi dry finish. Works reasonably well and is pretty drinkable.

Taste: sweet, white fruit, malty and spicy. Tjeerd (611) - GERMANY - JUL 31, 2017
Raar biertje. Niet onsmakelijk, maar ik loop er niet ontzettend warm voor. Bonuspunten voor originele poging. tricksta_p (5009) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - JUL 15, 2017
Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is herbal with juniper, fruity hops, green leaves, citrus, gin-tonic, touch of dille. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter with a dry finish. Body is medium. I wasn’t sure I was going to like this, but this is a very likeable experiment, tasty.

From 0.33 L bottle; pours cloudy and dark yellow to orange colored with a white head. Aroma is medium to heavy hoppy with some malty notes and a relatively strong other herbal note which must be the juniper berries. Taste follows the aroma with less fruit and more juniper/gin tonic flavor with a citrus note. Medium bitterness. Average long finish with juniper berries. Medium body, average carbonation, slightly watery mouthfeel. Interesting experiment, well done! Franksv6 (976) - Tiel, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2017
UPDATED: APR 27, 2017 Amber colored beer with a good white head. Taste : a lot of aroma hops. Flower, grassy, herbs, malty. Not like a normal citrus taste ipa. Nice Gangstergafje (1225) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - FEB 9, 2017
The beer looks like a true IPA. The color is light amber and the beer is quite clear, but a tiny cloudiness can be observed. On top of the beer a very small layer of foam is formed, of which the bulk collapses, leaving almost nothing.
The smell of the beer is nice. It is very hoppy. I smell some more resinous hop aroma’s. It also has some floral hints; it definitely isn’t as citrusy as most IPA’s are. The hop aroma is bitter and a tiny bit sweet and is in nice balance with some sweeter malt touches. The hops really give the beer a fresh summery, happy touch.
The taste is also great. It too is filled with flavorous hops. Flowersm maybe some grass and some herbs. It is again in good balance. Nice and bitter, with a lovely sweet touch. It’s lovingly refreshing, There are some twists in the beer the really give the beer a funky twist, probably the juniper and quinine.
The beer has a nice kick from the carbonation, tingling the tongue and propelling aromas and flavours. All in all, another lovely beer by Jopen! DijkBier (512) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - DEC 12, 2016
This is a very extraordinary beer: with quinine (to match gin&tonic).
The bottle pours very hazy light-golden, with a foamy white head, that doesn’t really last. The aroma is surprising; wow. Malts, but also gin-tonic indeed, through the quinine, juniper, cucumber; light citrus. Taste is fairly bitter, that lasts in the aftertaste; hops, grapefruit, but also a hint of penicilline. A little weird, but I do like these experiments! ulrikolsen (576) - DENMARK - DEC 3, 2016
Pours hazy golden with lazing offwhite head. Aroma has light malt, biscuit, some fruity notes, spice and a resinous hoppiness. Taste is light malty with bread and biscuit and some fruity notes . Somewhat spicy and hoppy with resin and pine. Finish is balanced sweet and dry.
