Sweet heavy roasty malty aroma, some savoury aspects, soy. Slickish palate. A little of the soy also in the taste. Boozy, quite scary.
Bottle @ home. Dark brown color, medium to full sized brown colored head that lasts for quite a while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, brown malts, chocolate cookies. Taste malts, chocolate, cocoa powder, chocolate bitter, nice lingering cocoa sweetness and moderate chocolate bitter. Medium body, smooth texture, suitable moderate carbonation. Very nice indeed. Keg at jabeerwocky. A clear reddy mahogany brown coloured pour with sticky light tan head. Aroma is earthy milky roast, nutty brown bread. Hint of jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of earthy chocolate roast jammy, plum, powdered choc. Palate is milky, frorhy carbonation. Good stuff.
