Tap at the brewery, golden brown with a thin head and aromas of toasted demerara and fresh hops. Freshly hoppy-bitter and toasty. flip_soeperman (880) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 10, 2015
Brown sweet nutty caramel beer. Like ongelovige Thomas but watery. Not too hoppy. Not impressive.

(Draught at Café Gollem, Amsterdam, 26 July 2013) Ruby red colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of caramel, red berries, dark fruit and spicy hops. Fruity, malty taste with red fruit, caramel and a balanced spicy bitterness in a slightly sweet finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Nice one. sic1314 (4775) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - AUG 6, 2013

Tap at the Haarlem Beer Festival 2013. Poured a cloudy dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is malty with a little resin and caramel. The flavour is medium bitter, with a little liqourice and resin on the smooth and slightly watery palate.
