Not (as i feared) just a miscategorized IPA, but a really good fruited Golden Ale Suttree (6504) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 3, 2017
Bottle from Merchants of Beer. Hazy Orange with a lot of foam. Smells like grapefruit up front, with Juniper or gin notes in the background. Taste is citrus at first, then woody, grapefruit, and some pine. Very dry finish. Oxytocin (224) - AUSTRIA - AUG 2, 2017

flavour: bready, juniper berries, herbs
acidity, lasting bitterness, warming, light to medium body, watery mouthfeel,
330 ml bottle, bb 24.07.2018. Pours a hazy golden with a white head and a lot of floating particles. The aroma is pretty fruity with sweeter citric fruits - blood orange and grapefruit -, nectarine, mango; lightly sweetish, juicy. Medium body with a low carbonation, a light to medium sweetness and a light to medium bitterness, which increases towards the finish. The flavor is again full of sweet fruits, grapefruit, orange, kiwi and strongly herbal notes of juniper and resin. Pretty full of flavors. Reminds me somehow of a citrus-herb candy. Lots of flavors, maybe a tad to sweet and candylike for me. Still very decent.

Golden colour, medium white soapy head. Murky with residue. Pretty much hoppy, some grapefruit. and cedar. Bitter aftertaste. Very enjoyable, smooth and creamy. Something sharp and nice is in this beer.

Bottle in Seattle. Purchased in Bend. Good thick foam, light hazed orange with snow globe floaty yeast. Perhaps too vigorous a pour. Odd aroma that rather encapsulates the juniper, grapefruit and cedar. Ends up rather fruity and a little foul. Sip dries out with astringent juniper and finishes with a firm, full cedar flavor. Tastes a bit like a salty sauna. Carbonation is relatively snappy. Body dries considerably, with some sawdust impressions. Fair bitterness. Quite odd, but certainly interesting. Bottle @ home. Clear golden colour with a medium sized white head. The amount of yeast in the bottle is scary. I left like half the beer in the bottle because the yeast was ready to come out and get me. Anyway, smells sweet, floral, slightly cedar, slight herbs (like basil or something). Tastes sweet, yeasty, herbs (basil and thyme). Kinda flat carbo-wise. Medium body. rayaron (1997) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - JUN 26, 2017
